The Dog Hikers was launched in September of 2007. We opened up a whole new era of dog
walking by offering a unique service in the South Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.
We are the first and currently only dog hiking service in the South Bay.

Nathalie started the business by combining her passion for the outdoors and working with her
own dogs, Chewie and Ani. Her prior experience in marketing, sales and customer service
provided a solid base that formed The Dog Hikers to the company it is today.

Our combination of Exercise, Socialization and Training worked out for all parties involved.
Most of our clients started hiking with us once a week. Currently 17% of our client dogs hike
with us 4 times or more a week, 21% 3 times a week, 38% twice a week and 24% once a
week.

We have 5 dog hikers in our team that provide morning and noon hikes throughout the week.

The Dog Hikers are very engaged in their local community. We donate money and volunteer for
several shelters and rescues, local agencies and provide informational classes to educate
especially children to overcome their fear of dogs and to understand how dogs communicate
with us.
